Are you looking for a structured and comprehensible practice plan that offers you a clear perspective?

Then you’re in the right place!

Because:

For brass instruments, sound, endurance, range, and control are very challenging areas.
As a licensed Burba®Brass teacher, I can thoroughly analyze your playing. Together, we will address various problem areas by targeting their physical and physiological causes, and solve them through a customized practice plan just for you!

Since brass players, unlike other instrumentalists, don’t have a functional musical instrument with an integrated vibration generator, they first have to develop this function within their own bodies. Targeted exercises with and without the instrument will help you master this essential foundation, allowing you to unlock your full musical potential.

I offer trumpet lessons and lessons for all brass instruments, regardless of age groups, and from beginners to professionals!

The Burba® method is a promise of quality and stands for continuous development on the instrument!
I look forward to accompanying you on this journey!

FAQ
"Do I need to change my embouchure to learn the method?"
No!
However, in many cases, a change in embouchure is necessary when the inner rim of the mouthpiece sits at the highest or lowest point on the red of the lips, as this can cause various negative effects.
I will definitely tell you in the first lesson if that applies to you, but even then, there's no need to panic, as the success rate of an embouchure change is 100%! Additionally, apart from some important exercises, you will continue to play exactly as you have been, because embouchure is the last thing to be fixed!

"How can I improve my range?"
The question of how to improve range is asked very often, because for trumpeters, range usually plays the most important role among the playing parameters – sound, endurance, control, and range.
However, range is not an isolated skill, but rather comes from doing many other things right.
So, if you're stuck with your range, it would be most effective to first focus on optimizing the other parameters. I’ll show you the right way, and then your range problems will resolve themselves in the long term!

"Why should I practice exercises without the instrument? That has nothing to do with music!"
First of all, practicing exercises without the instrument does not mean that you're no longer making music!
As brass players, we first have to develop the function of the vibration generator in our body, meaning we must work on the foundation for playing a steady tone at all. In fact, half of our task is that of an instrument maker. And it's logical to fix issues with the generator where they arise—by engaging with our own bodies.
Just like a ski jumper will definitely improve their skiing by regularly balancing on a tightrope, even though they aren't actively working on their skiing!
